END OF SEASON SUMMARY-STATS

On Sunday we finished the season with a 3-0 win against Tuen Mun in the play off final to ensure our place in The AFC Cup 2014. We finished the season very strongly and in excellent form keeping 7 cleans from the last 7 games. On a personal note I was pleased with my season and my 1.5 years in Hong Kong to date. During that period I have played 55 from a possible 58 competitive games helping us win 4 trophies, 1 League title, 2 FA Cups and 1 League Cup as well twice progressing out of the group stage of The AFC Cup into the last 16 and last 8 of this years competition.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish the outgoing head Coach Josep all the very best in his new challenge in Australia with Adelaide United in The A League.
Josep is an exceptional coach, great man manager and a real people person who helped to improve the level of competitiveness of the game in Hong Kong and deserves this opportunity in Australia as a reward for his hard work and dedication during the last 4 years in Hong Kong. I will now enjoy this off season period to re-charge physically and mentally as its been a very long season with a lot of travelling involved but thoroughly enjoyable.
