As PFA Delegate and a member of the Management Committee I was present at the PFA Annual General Meeting at the Midland Hotel in Manchester yesterday afternoon. All the clubs delegates were present to collate all the newest information needed to portray back to the players at their clubs. As a Union the PFA has continued to go from strength to strength and offers all of the players advice and support in every aspect of their professional and personal lives to ensure it is a success. Gordon Taylor and his staff deserve huge credit for making the lives of the players easier by being there as a valuable resource and more. I would like to congratulate Clark Carlisle as the new PFA Chairman, he is a very worthy successor to former Chairman Chris Powell.
