On Thursday we beat Bangladesh in the last group game of the SAFF Cup 2-1. We came from behind and displayed good character to equalise and then win. Unfortunately despite the win the other results in our group went against us. We finished 2nd in the group level on points with India with a superior goal difference but unfortunately the head to head game means we were out. I have been very pleased with the improvement of the team in this tournament under the new coach, there is lots of potential for progression and I hope to play my part to help increase the level for the Pakistan National Team whenever called upon. I now switch all of my attention and focus to the league and upcoming AFC Cup games. We have a very very important few weeks on the horizon with Kitchee.
