LEAGUE ACTION..LIONS XII AWAY...1ST DEFEAT IN 7

Last night we lost 4-1 to Lions XII of Singapore, after an amazing recent run of five straight wins and a draw it was particularly frustrating to lose in the manner that we did. At 1-1 on the hour mark we decided to make a tactical switch to try and win the game and unfortunately late on in the game we got hit on the counter attack which made the scoreline more flattering for the hosts as opposed to a true reflection on proceedings. The positives from the night are we are still top of the league and are hungry to right the wrongs from this match at the weekend. We need to show good character, togetherness, and bounce back immediately with a positive result at the weekend for our fans when we face Sime Darby at home.
