KITCHEE (3) V TAI PO (1)

We returned to league action yesterday following the mid week game against Newly promoted Chinese Super League Team Shanghai East Asia. We beat Woofo Tai Po 3-1 at the Tai Po sports ground in an open game. It was not an easy game so we are pleased to take the three points and remain top of the league. We now travel to China for the second game in Shanghai of the HK-Shanghai Inter Club championship game. Its always a good test playing against strong opposition because it will improve us for our second AFC Cup campaign which will begin in the new year. Kitchee is very dominant in Hong Kong but the next step is to improve on the continental stage in Asia and games like these will most definitely help our cause.
